Savoy Cinema Gainsborough

GRS is proud to have successfully delivered the electrical installation for the new Savoy Cinema in Gainsborough town centre, a cutting-edge leisure destination that is already making a vibrant impact on the local community.

Designed to offer an exceptional cinema experience, the development features state-of-the-art Vertex 4K laser projection, immersive Dolby Atmos surround sound, and luxury electric recliner seating. GRS provided a full scope of electrical services, including power and distribution, internal and external lighting, fire alarm systems, access control, lightning protection, and audio intercom systems.

To further enhance performance and reliability, GRS installed a range of specialist systems tailored to the demands of a modern cinema environment. These included a precision auditorium dimming system, giving operators complete control over lighting levels, and a static inverter emergency lighting system to ensure uninterrupted illumination in the event of a power failure.

Completed on programme and to exacting specifications, the project demonstrates GRS’s ability to deliver high-quality, technically complex electrical solutions within fast-paced leisure environments, helping clients bring standout destinations to life.
