Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre - NAAFI Building

We’re pleased to share the completion of electrical works at the newly renovated NAAFI Building at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, delivered for Rodden and Cooper Ltd.

The project involved the refurbishment and expansion of the original WW1 building, relocated from RAF Manby in the 1980s, alongside the construction of a mirror-image extension to replace outdated 1990s lean-to structures. The upgraded facilities now include modern office space, a state-of-the-art kitchen, warm toilet facilities, and a new function room.

GRS delivered a full electrical installation including distribution, lighting, small power, intruder alarm systems, and disabled toilet alarms. A key focus throughout was ensuring the works remained sympathetic to the historic setting, maintaining the traditional RAF aesthetic while meeting modern standards.
