Wirtgen

GRS were pleased to have been appointed as the electrical contractor for this new build project on behalf of the Wirtgen Group. The new site at Winthorpe, Newark consists of a three storey building for vehicle/plant servicing including a repair workshop, offices, storage facilities, and a sales display area.

This project is one of a number of current and historical projects undertaken by GRS for the Lindum Group and continues to strengthen our long-standing working relationship.

The Wirtgen Group are an international company, who are world leders in milling technology located in Germany, It supply mobile machinery and services for the road construction industry and employ over 7,000 people worldwide.The Wirtgen Group have relocated from their old Lincoln site to this new site in Newark.

GRS installed comprehensive electrical facilities comprising lighting, power, fire alarm, access control and CCTV. With the creation of over 100 full-time jobs this facility was of huge benefit to the local area.
