The Barton Hub Extension

Our on site team and contracts manager worked closely alongside our solar department to facilitate the installation of a new 49KW Solar System to the sloping standing seam roof. The system utilises 156 High Efficient 315W REC Mono Solar Panels, producing an estimated 34,000KWH electrical power per year.

The newly improved site is very impressive and has already proven to be a invaluable asset to the local community and has created positive economical health and wellbeing benefits for local stakeholders.

This summer GRS have completed the Barton Hub extension and refurbishment project for GS Kelsey, involving the creation of a new library and breakout areas for business and visiting health care services. As part of these works the gym was remodified whilst refurbishment works included the foyer and reception counter area and creation of a new café.

A key element of this project was working diligently within a live environment, to ensure minimal disruption to staff and service users. Installing the new electrical services required careful planning to ensure the new works were implemented in synergy to comply with and match the existing installation elements
