Louth Hospital MRI Scanner

GRS completed work on the new MRI Scanner at Louth Hospital for the Gelder Group.

The MRI suite is located at the front of the hospital grounds and the scanner provides detailed and fast scans. It is a vital tool to improve cancer treatment as patients can be scanned earlier, leading to a quicker diagnosis and being able to start treatment sooner.

With Lockdown beginning in late March due to the coronavirus pandemic, as key workers, GRS continued to operate on site throughout, following safety procedures and social distancing measures, to bring this vital hospital service to completion.

GRS are extremely proud to have been involved in the construction of this service, that will benefit local people for years to come.
