Lincoln Maternity Theatre Refurbishment

GRS have recently completed works on the Lincoln Maternity Theatre refurbishment. The project comprised of the complete strip-out and renovation of the existing Maternity delivery theatres and adjacent associated areas within the existing first floor of the Maternity Block at Lincoln County Hospital. New electrical services were installed for the new Maternity operating theatre and    associated ancillary areas.

A key element of this project was the management of the installation of essential specialist equipment needed within the Hospital environment such as medical gas equipment & uninterruptable power supplies. This required coordination and co-operation to meet the NHS Trust requirements and ensure deadlines were met.

An example of this is within the third floor plant room, a new uninterruptable power system was installed. This system was carefully installed to the Hospitals specification as this is a critical potentially life-saving feature, and illustrates the importance of the high quality fit for purpose electrical install which GRS delivered.
