Lincolnshire County Council has invested in a “Waste to Energy Programme” which includes a substantial waste incinerator together with a network of waste transfer stations.
The newly constructed waste transfer station in Bourne forms part of the network supplying the feedstock to the incinerator.
The new Waste Transfer Facility has been created to help transfer household waste to a new energy from waste plant.
GRS’s involvement in the project involved the design and installation of internal LED Lighting, Fire Alarms, CCTV & LED Street Lighting.
